 How do I access BlackBerry® Storm's full keyboard when using the BlackTrack notes feature?

To resolve BlackBerry® Storm interface issues with BlackTrack you need to disable compatibility mode. To complete this process follow this 4 steps:

  • Go to options (the wrench icon)
  • Select advanced options, then applications,
  • From the list of applications, highlight BlackTrack,
  • Press the menu key and select "Disable compatibility mode"
  • Exit

How can I view BlackTrack in landscape mode on my BlackBerry® Storm device?

Accessing landscape mode when using a BlackBerry® Storm also requires disabling compatibility mode. See the solution above for step-by-step instructions.

How do I uninstall BlackTrack Lite? 

To uninstall BlackTrack please follow the instructions listed below.

  1. Go to Options on the BlackBerry® main screen (the wrench icon)
  2. Select Advanced Options
  3. Select Applications
  4. Select BlackTrack with the menu button and Select Delete.
  5. Please be sure to reboot your BlackBerry® if the system requests you to do so.

NOTE: Depending on what you have tried to do to uninstall, the above procedure may not work.  If that is the case, then the solution is to reinstall BT (to put everything back in its right place) and then follow the above procedure to remove it.  This works every time.

Privacy/Security

 Is the BlackTrack activity data recorded by BlackTrack secure?

 BlackTrack’s activity data is stored in your BlackBerry’s® internal memory and can only be accessed by users who have permissions to view your BlackBerry® or your email account. BlackTrack data is never sent to any server other than your own e-mail system.

 Can I restrict what type of activity that BlackTrack logs on my BlackBerry®?

 BlackTrack has been designed to provide a comprehensive log of all phone and e-mail activities on a user’s BlackBerry®. There is no way to ‘omit’ or ‘black list’ activity. You may edit the Settings / Duration Limit to restrict the recording of short duration activities.

 Does the BlackTrack report include my non-work related BlackBerry® activity?

 Yes, BlackTrack automatically logs all BlackBerry® emails and phone calls.

 Who can see the BlackTrack's BlackBerry® activity report?

 BlackTrack's report is only sent to the user's email. The only way to see the report is from the user's email

 What BlackBerry® activity data is logged by BlackTrack?

BlackTrack logs all your incoming / outgoing phone calls and sent / received email activity.
